Vancouver Improvised Arts Society Salon Series #2   Join us on Saturday, March 21st for the second event in our Salon Series. This will be a multidisciplinary night to remember featuring Elisa Thorn on processed harp, Alvaro Rojas on electric guitar, Balot Ne on gamelan sounds, plus very special surprise guests who will be taking full advantage of the venue. *hint, hint* Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the date. This is going to be a fun one, with a little bit of mischief and a lot of joy!   These concerts celebrate the very beginnings of a new performing arts society in Vancouver: the Vancouver Improvised Arts Society. Dedicated to showcasing new artistic works sparked from joyful spontaneous play and to support artists working across mediums to explore, create, and perform within the limitless realm of improvised art, VIAS is poised to be a hub for international and local artists ready to expand and evolve their crafts through experimentation, collaboration, and performance.   The VIAS Salon Series, in conjunction with our friends at Studio Full Bloom, is a bi-monthly fundraiser and awareness-raiser for the society, as we prepare for our official launch in the Fall of 2020 when we will host our very first two day festival of all things improvised! Stay tuned
